    Cydia helpapt – “E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg … – That message is generic. It just means that the dpkg instance called by apt/apt-get failed for some reason. It doesn’t explain why, how, or give hints how ……

    Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2) – so I just reinstalled Linuxmint. I have been making full Linuxmint image backups a couple of times a week using Clonezilla because experience has taught me that Linux is less stable and less reliable than my Window$ XP Pro SP3 installation.

    I ran into this when installing the 3.5 Framework on two Windows 2003 SP2 servers. .NET 3.5 installed with no problems on one, but failed on the other….

    What you need to do is hook your iDevice to your computer to the evasi0n7 tool and rejailbreak. Then when it tells you to click on the evasi0n app that appears on your phone you delete the app instead and then force quit the application on the computer.
